Harvard International Relations Council

The Harvard International Relations Council (IRC) is the umbrella organization for many international relations programs at Harvard. The IRC is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and an accredited non-governmental organization associated with the United Nations Department of Public Information. The yearly Harvard National Model United Nations conference is just one of many programs supported by IRC Central through funding and coordination. Harvard International Relations Council
This umbrella organization coordinates and supports seven Harvard international relations programs with a total of over 400 members.

Harvard International Review
The Harvard International Review is a quarterly journal on developments in the international community ranging from business to politics to technology.

Harvard Model United Nations
HMUN is HNMUN’s sister conference for high school students, held every January at the Boston Sheraton.

Harvard Intercollegiate Model United Nations
Harvard students participate in Model United Nations conferences held by other universities through the Intercollegiate Model United Nations team.

Harvard Program for International Education
This community service organization sends Harvard undergraduate tutors into Boston-area high schools once a week to teach about issues within the international community.

Model Security Council
This one-day simulation is held at the beginning of each school year for interested Harvard students to discover their interest in international relations.
