How to Apply

In order to represent a country at HNMUN 2010, a school must send a delegation of at least six people. If your school cannot send at least six people, please register once for your school and then see further instructions at the “How to Apply: Individuals” page.

  1. Registration is available at on our online MUNBase registration system.
  2. Please enter your School Information and Mailing Address.
  3. Please enter your Country Preferences. You must rank 10 different countries so that we may best accommodate your preferences. Please refer to the Country Assignment List for more information on minimum and maximum capacity for each country and specific committee assignments.
  4. Answer all of the Application Questions.
  5. Read and indicate that you accept our Conference Policies.
  6. Click only ONCE to submit.
  7. You should now see an Application Submitted screen. You will soon receive an email confirming that we have received your application. If you do not see the Application Submitted screen, or if you do not receive an email from us, please contact us.
  8. To finish the registration process, you must pay the US$60 non-refundable registration fee. Please note that your account will not be activated and you will not receive any country assignment(s) until you have paid the registration fee. This fee can be paid by check or credit card through our online electronic payment platform. To pay online, please visit hnmun.org and select the PayPal option in the upper right hand corner of the website. Alternatively, if you choose to pay by check, please mail us your check right away and email us to let us know. Please refer to our Conference Policies for specific details on paying by check.
  9. Once we have received your US$60 registration fee, we will activate your account. You will receive a second email with a summary of fees and log-in information.

Note: For schools that register by our Priority Registration Deadline of 12 October 2009, country assignments will be distributed by 22 October 2009. For schools that register by our Final Registration Deadline of 12 November 2009, country assignments will be distributed by 17 November 2009.
